First Breakthrough! Letone Technology's API 17K Hose Secures a Landmark CCUS Project for Offshore O
On March 25, Letone Technology successfully won the bid for the trestle hose procurement project of the Dongfang 1-1 Gas Field CCUS Enhanced Oil Recovery Project designed by the Design Institute of Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC). This marks the first breakthrough application of domestically independently developed API 17K bonded hoses in a landmark offshore oil and gas CCUS project. As a key demonstration project of CCUS-EOR (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage for Enhanced Oil Recovery) in China’s offshore oil and gas sector, this project sets an industry benchmark for promoting the low-carbon transformation of offshore oil and gas development. The successful bid not only adds another milestone achievement to Letone Technology’s high-end oil and gas hose business portfolio, but also signifies that domestic high-end offshore oil and gas hoses have officially broken the long-term monopoly of international giants, taking a crucial step toward independent control of core equipment.

The trestle hose awarded in this bid is developed based on Letone Technology’s fully proprietary core technology of API 17K bonded hoses. This product series made its debut at cippe 2026 Beijing International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition. Featuring product performance aligned with international industry standards, excellent resistance to marine environmental corrosion, and long‑term operational reliability, it immediately attracted extensive attention from the industry both at home and abroad upon its launch. From its technical premiere at a major industry event to its rapid application in key projects, this progress not only fully validates the core adaptability of the product series in high‑end scenarios such as offshore oil and gas transmission and low‑carbon oil and gas development, but also marks that Letone Technology has successfully broken through the technical barriers that long restricted high‑end offshore oil and gas hoses to imports, achieving domestic self‑sufficiency and independent control of core products in this field.
