According to the China Construction Machinery Association, my country's construction machinery import and export trade volume reached US$40.398 billion from January to August this year, a year-on-year increase of 11%. Exports amounted to US$38.597 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.4%, while imports reached US$1.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.84%. Exports significantly exceeded imports.
On September 23, the 17th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition opened in Beijing, showcasing the industry's vitality. Over a thousand exhibitors brought more than 20,000 high-end, green, and intelligent new products and technologies, attracting overseas buyers from around the world.
A representative from the China Construction Machinery Association stated that my country's construction machinery industry is continuously improving its overseas market layout, and Chinese-made construction machinery technologies, products, and services are increasingly recognized by the international market. It is expected that this year, the industry's export volume will continue to maintain high growth on top of the substantial increases seen in the past four years.
