Warm isostatic pressing (WIP) is a manufacturing process that uses isostatic pressure up to 6000 bar to compress powdered materials into a solid form. It is similar to cold isostatic pressing, but uses a higher temperature, approximately 200ºC, though not as high as hot isostatic pressing. This process can be used to manufacture a variety of products, such as polymer parts, metal parts, or ceramic parts.
